ESPA and DYPA programmes: how to prepare properly

Subsidised ESPA and DYPA programmes are not decided at the moment of submission, but in the months before it. Eligibility depends on activity codes, company size, previous aid and the financial data of recent years.

Before a call opens, we check whether the company meets the formal criteria and whether changes are needed (adding activity codes, clearing social security status, updating the GEMI registry).

Expense timing is critical: expenses incurred before the eligibility date are not subsidised, however useful they may be.

During implementation, invoicing, bank payments and evidence of deliverables must match the approved budget exactly, so that payment is not reduced.
