Digital work card and ERGANI II: employer obligations
Published · 4 min read · NS Accounting & Tax Office
The digital work card moved working-time monitoring to real time. The start and end of each shift are declared electronically, and deviations from declared hours are easy to detect.
Employers must keep shift schedules, pre-declared overtime and every change in employment details up to date in ERGANI II.
Overtime not declared in advance is treated as a violation, regardless of whether it was correctly paid in payroll.
In practice, the safe solution is a simple internal routine: the shift supervisor informs the office of any change the same day, and we handle the declarations.
